Join our eye care team at Northshore Kamloops Optical Centre, to provide quality eye care for our community. Our newly renovated office is open Monday - Friday, with flexible part time hours. Full time hours may be negotiated for the right candidate.

Our location on the Northshore of Kamloops is in a commercial area close to the river and residential areas. Our city has world class alpine skiing and mountain biking. As well as access to many other outdoors activities.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient flow and pre-testing as needed
• Dispensing sales, ordering, and coordinating with team
• Education of patients on the selection of frames and lenses
• Contact lens fitting and instruction of use and care
• Repair and adjustments to patients’ eyewear
• Cutting, edging and mounting lenses

Successful Candidate

• · BC Optician License and contact lens fitting certificate
• · 1 year sales experience
• · Passionate about patient care
• · Excellent communication
• · Experience cutting and edging
• · Legally able to work in Canada
• · Experience with EHR software an asset
