Seeking a motivated and experienced Optometric Assistant/ Optician to join our growing team in SE Calgary

Job Type: Full-time

Salary Range: $17.00- $25.00 per hour

Urban Eyecare is a full-scope primary care and vision therapy practice. We care for our patients at 2 locations: Sunridge Mall (NE Calgary) and Lake Chaparral (SE Calgary). Our goal is to provide a red-carpet experience for our patients in a team environment that promotes personal and professional growth for our staff.

We are seeking an Optometric Assistant/ Optician to become part of the close-knit team at our Chaparral location. The ideal candidate would be able to work collaboratively with other members of the team in providing superior quality patient care, is passionate about helping others, and constantly demonstrates maturity and responsibility. You will be responsible for all day-to-day tasks within the clinic including reception, insurance billings, answering phones, conducting preliminary testing, contact lens teaches, dispensing and adjustments of eyeglasses, vision therapy and administrative duties.
