We are seeking a dedicated and friendly team member to join our full-scope optometry practice in Kamloops, British Columbia. We provide comprehensive eye exams, advanced treatment plans and personalized eyewear solutions for all ages. Our new facility is equipped with the latest technology.

The ideal applicant is proactive, organized, professional and committed to consistently providing an outstanding patient experience with a smile. Previous experience in sales and/or experience in the eyecare/eyewear industry is an asset, on the job training provided. Ability to learn quickly with proven exceptional customer service and organizational skills are required.

There is lots of room to grow your skills within our practice.

Responsibilities may include:

-Administration: answering phones, scheduling appointments, data entry, invoicing customers, purchasing supplies, coordinating special events/initiatives

-Patient Interaction: greeting patients, answering inquiries, performing pre-testing and auxiliary testing, performing recalls, facilitating patient check-in/out procedures

-Optical: Assisting customers with the selection and purchase of eyewear; educating customers in adapting to, wearing and caring for eyewear; properly fitting and repairing eyewear

Terms:

-Full-time/part time hours

-Must be able to work Saturdays

-Starting wage of $21.00/hr (depending on experience)
