Your ability to provide great customer service to multiple patients is essential in our fast-paced environment.

The position involves consulting patients with their individual eyewear options, trial framing to optimize visual outcomes, contact lens consultation, prescription & non-prescription sun wear consultations, inventory management, admitting patients, using advanced eye care instrumentation. Training on clinic specifics will be provided.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident, reliable, organized, and caring person who wants to join our team of friendly, experienced eyecare professionals who have been providing the residents of Oceanside and North Nanaimo with state-of-the-art eye care for over 35 years.

Information:
- wage starting at $34.00 per hour (depending on level of experience)

- Full time position with work life balance – no weekends

Qualifications:

Essential:

- Secondary School graduate

- competency in Microsoft Office, email and internet experience

- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment

Preferred:

-licensed optician or experienced ophthalmic dispenser

-Optical/Optometry experience is preferred but not required.
