The ideal candidate for our Optician/eye wear consultant position is an enthusiastic and social person who goes above and beyond to ensure positive experiences for our patients. Our team members are asked to assist with selection, fitting, and ordering of spectacle frames and lenses, as well as troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs. We regularly provide opportunities to expand your knowledge to help serve our patients even better. Cross-training into other areas such as front desk, pre-testing, or contact lens fitting/training may be initiated. Experience is a benefit but is not required! If you've got the right personality and are willing to learn, we would be thrilled to provide training and turn you into a glasses dispensing and frame adjusting pro! Ability to communicate in a second language to serve our diverse community would be a strong asset. Other experience in hospitality, sales, serving/bartending or customer service would be an asset for those without direct experience .
