Optometry Assistant/Reception

LMC Optometry & Eye Care

LMC Healthcare (LMC) is Canada’s largest specialist care provider in diabetes, endocrinology & metabolism. We are searching for an Optometric Assistant who can work 3 days/week in our multidisciplinary clinic located in North Toronto. Two days will be in clinic, supporting our optometrist; pre-testing patients, checking them in/out, invoicing & billing. The balance will be remote work doing recalls, answering phone messages, replying to emails and other admin work. Training will be provided on the diagnostic equipment, although any experience would be an asset. Patient lists will be provided in order to do the outreach calls.

This position will begin as part-time and we hope to expand the clinic hours to accommodate a full-time position in the coming months.

Excellent communication skills are a must, both verbal and written. You are friendly, confident and self-motivated, organized, detail oriented and able to work without much supervision. If this describes you, we would love to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
