Georgian Bay Optometry Clinic is seeking a full time dynamic Healthcare Administrator/Technician for our bustling Optometry office!

As a Front Desk Administrator, you’ll be the welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face at the clinic, scheduling appointments seamlessly and handling inquiries for a busy multi doctor optometry clinic. Your organizational skills will shine as you mastermind the scheduling puzzle, ensuring patients’ needs align smoothly.

It doesn’t stop at the front desk, you will also be working one on one pretesting patients, utilizing cutting-edge equipment to gather crucial insights for our optometrists. Your attention to detail and gentle touch will make the pretesting process comfortable and accurate for our valued patients.

Duties include:

  • Managing a multi line phone system
  • Texting, emailing, faxing, voicemail
  • Referrals
  • OHIP billing
  • POS
  • Scheduling
  • Pretesting patients using auto refractor, OCT, visual field testing, widefield retina camera (we will provide training).

Ideal Candidate:

  • Self- motivated, with a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
  • Creative and innovative thinker, who learns quickly
  • Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and be flexible in a very active work environment
  • administrative experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a team environment
