Full Time Optician or Optometric Assistant (will also consider Part Time Applicants)

The Opportunity:

If you are a Licensed Optician, a student Optician, or a Certified Optometric Assistant, Inspired Eyes would like to connect with you! We are looking for a Full Time Optician, but will also consider Part Time applicants. Inspired Eyes is an optical boutique and full scope optometric clinic set in a charming historic building in downtown Kelowna, BC.

Our style of vision care is based on kindness and connection, building trust, and creating rapport with our clientele. Our team works synergistically to serve our clients with fun loving compassion. We laugh a lot. We care deeply for our customers and each other. The reward of helping people to see life more clearly and feel confident and beautiful in their choice of eyewear is a daily delight at Inspired Eyes. Your love of fashion will be stoked by the collection of rare, innovative, and beautiful eyewear we have curated from eclectic, fashion forward brands.

Our practice is relationship rich and technically savvy. You’ll be encouraged to take the time you need to find the best solutions for your clients and have access to all manner of specialty products, including premium progressives, iseikonic lenses and therapeutic tints. If you love getting to know your clients and finding ways to add positivity to their lives through your work, you could be a perfect fit for our team.

Certification as a Licensed Optician or Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant (CCOA) is preferred, but commensurate practical experience will also be considered.
