First Optometry

First Optometry is a long established, independent Optometry practice providing eye care, eye examinations, glasses, contact lenses, myopia management, dry eye treatments and other related services. We have a reputation for high standards of clinical and optical care, a personalized service, a friendly atmosphere, and enjoy a loyal clientele.

We are currently seeking a full-time key member to join our growing team.

Qualifications:

-You have excellent communication skills, are well presented, and confident.

-Your pleasant and caring manner will make our patients feel welcome and valued in our practice.

-You have a professional attitude and work at a steady pace to complete all necessary tasks and responsibilities without being asked.

-You work well as part of a team, willing to assist others when needed.

-You have the ability to maintain composure, feelings, and emotions when dealing with argumentative people or defensive situations. Your professionalism does not waver when presented with different personalities and/or situations.

-You are able to multitask while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

-You are reliable, honest, and trustworthy.

-You are adaptable and love learning new things.

-You possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

-You possess an Optician's License or an Optometric Assistant Certificate or you have experience in Optical Sales

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Assist patients with selecting appropriate eyewear

-Educate patients regarding lens options available

-Take measurements for dispensing eyewear

-Perform minor frame repairs and adjustments

-Order and verify prescriptions

-Help to manage frame and product inventory

-General office duties (answer phone, tidy dispensary, greet patients)
