This independent, growing optometric practice in KINDERSLEY, Saskatchewan is looking for someone to share its future with!

Practice where optometry is exciting, rewarding and allows plenty of exposure to medical-based optometry! No ophthalmologist within a 2-hour radius, so ample opportunity to see ocular urgencies and keep up your optometric medical skills in additional to a wide variety of routine primary care. Excellent location, friendly community and fantastic team to work with!

Well-equipped practice able to handle full-scope family optometry. Situated in a brand-new beautiful facility, hosting multiple exam lanes and a full upper level living suite. We have state-of-the-art equipment including Maestro OCT, Optomap imaging, FDT, Humphrey visual field analyzer and pachymetry, as well as direct access to Medmont corneal topography/meibomianography and in-house lab via our sister location. Comes with a fully stocked modern dispensary and an in-house inventory of disposable contact lenses for retail!

Quieter, rural environment that is great for living raising a family, yet a progressive community boasting many amenities including movie theatre, shopping, bowling alley, many esthetic services, yoga studio, numerous restaurants, new aquatic facility, lots of sporting and recreation opportunity, great schools, churches, cultural development, and wonderful people… and a beach area!

Good rapport with local physicians, excellent fun, caring and professional staff, as well as a growing client base. We use Visual Eyes EHR system, which we have found excellent for new grads coming out of the University of Waterloo who are already using it, but also very easy to learn for those less familiar with it.

Competitive daily minimum for associate position or rare buy-out option for those wanting their own non-corporate practice! No growing pains that occur with start-ups! New grads are welcomed, and encouraged, as this is an ideal location to gain experience in all aspects of independent optometry – you can be independent but supported at the same time!

Specific Contract details:

-up to $75K signing bonus; up to $850/day daily minimum and 23% gross differential bonus; first year accommodations included

-purchase price $999K (negotiable - financials available with serious interest)

-The successful applicant needs to be friendly, reliable, independent, and comfortable with practicing optometry to the full extent of training, ability, comfort level and scope of practice in Saskatchewan.
