We’re a busy, full scope, family optometric practice looking for someone who excels at gratifying our patients and having them exit our office feeling satisfied and valued. Previous optometric or health care experience is a must, along with excellent customer service and teamwork skills. Having a good fashion sense, enjoying picking out frames for yourself and others, the ability to multitask, being comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and being team oriented are all valuable skills we’re seeking. If you also know your way around an optical lab, then definitely let us know! Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can work 5 days a week to manage our practice. We are in downtown Amherstburg next to the post office, 5 days a week.

Managing duties include staff management and HR, repairing and adjusting frames, greeting patients in person or by phone and seeing to their concerns and questions, helping patients find frames they adore, choosing the appropriate lenses and taking all necessary measurements, keeping track of lens orders and their statuses from optical labs, processing payments and insurance claims, training patients on contact lens insertion and removal, light cleaning, and opening and closing the office.
