Seeking a full-time Lead Optician.

Cochrane Family Vision is a private optometry practice that is locally owned and operated by Drs. Ian and Sallie Barclay. Committed to providing exceptional optometric care and products, our clinic boasts a high-tech, full-scope family practice. We prioritize creating a friendly and comfortable environment for our patients.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Lead Optician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting patients with frame and lens selection, considering their prescriptions and lifestyle needs

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs
  • Perform frame adjustments and provide ongoing care for patient needs
  • Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the team to create a positive and efficient work environment

  • Interpersonal and exceptional customer service

  • Positive and enthusiastic team player
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Willingness to participate in professional development

Schedule:

  • Part-time or Full-time
  • 20-40 hours/week
  • Shifts ranging from 6-8 hours in length

Experience:

  • Licensed Optician or equivalent experience required.

Clinic hours:

Monday: 9am-5:30pm

Tuesday: 9am-5:30pm

Wednesday: 8am-8pm

Thursday: 8am-8pm

Friday: 9am-5:30pm

Saturday 9am-3pm
