About the Role:

We are searching for a passionate and knowledgeable Optical Dispenser/Sales Associate to join our team! In this role, you will play a key part in helping our patients find the perfect eyewear to meet their needs and style.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in selecting eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses based on their prescriptions, facial features, and lifestyle.
  • Accurately dispense and fit glasses, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
  • Explain lens options, coatings, and frame materials to patients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized dispensary area.
  • Process insurance claims and answer patient billing questions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in an optical dispensary (preferred but not required) or a bubbly and enthusiastic sales associate with medium experience and willingness to learn.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or with a work permit in Canada.
