Job Summary
We are seeking an Optometric Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our Optometrists in providing excellent eye care services to our patients.

Do you want to work in the heart of Richmond Hill for a busy Optometric practice? Then this job is for you! We have full-time and part-time positions available and we are looking for motivated and energetic Optometric Assistant to join our team! We are a specialty clinic with Dry Eye Spa, Myopia management for our pediatric client base and specialty Contact Lens Fitting. We have specialized training programs to help you grow as part of our dynamic team along with company events, Vision care and Bonuses! Optometry/Ophthalmology experience is a bonus. Responsibilities:
- Assist Optometrist with patient care, including pre-testing and preliminary examinations
- Perform diagnostic tests, such as visual acuity and color vision tests
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Assist with frame selection and retail sales of eyewear in our Eyewear Boutique
- Schedule appointments and manage the front desk operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the office

Skills:
- Experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems
- Strong customer service skills with a background in retail sales
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of basic patient care procedures

As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality eye care services to our patients. You will work closely with the Optometrist to ensure smooth operations in the office and deliver exceptional customer service. This position requires a combination of medical office experience, retail sales skills, and a passion for patient care.
